Made out of the remainders of my Epson A2 printer and my Brother all-in-one printer. Made to participate in The BIG Cybertrash Contest. The dimensions are 14x22x9cm. It is bound on raised cords – or in this case, braided parts of a network-cable – with the aluminium wire that came out of the same cable. The paper came from a very large pile of A2 paper that came with the first printer mentioned above. This book is bound on raised cords, made of electrical wire. De covers are made out of old printer components.
Gifts for my second parents, as I often call them. My guardians or godparents if you will.
The books are completely glue-less, made out of cardboard stitched together. And a plastic sheet in the windows. The pattern on the ‘cutains’ was hand-embroidered. The ‘landscapes’ are made out of several layers op paper with shapes cut out of them. The signatures and covers were bound together, using the Coptic binding.
