/Portfolio: Indonesia Notebooks

Written by Marenne on May 5th, 2014  | Posted under /Long Stitch Binding.

These books are made with a variation on the Long Stitch sewing method. The covers and closures are made of cinnamon bark and the spines have porcupine quills in them. Both materials are from Indonesia, from a non-profit/helping-kids-out kind of place called “Oom Piet” (Uncle Pete). The pages are blank 120 grams cream biotop.
