My holiday cards for this year were made using the eco-print technique. At the end of spring I set about to collect a bunch of vern leaves. I boiled these in water with madder-powder and printed them on alum-soaked aquarel paper by steaming them, sandwiched between two tiles. I transformed one side into a decorated ‘Christmas’ tree and the other side into pines in the snow. The text and stars/snowflakes were cut with my new cutting machines – small lines are a breeze now!
